...and we bought a house...

This was the most expensive weekend I will probably ever have (at least for a long time). Robert and I have decided to build a house. We just couldn't find anything we liked and this way we get to pick out everything. So McBride and Sons was having a Grand Opening and sale prices but those prices were only to the first 10 firm contracts. The Grand Opening was on Saturday but people starting camping out on Wednesday night. I couldn't believe nor did I have a plan for this. I knew that people were going to camp out on Friday night and I was prepared for this, but not starting on Wednesday, especially since we live 2 hours away.

Anyway, my sister started off Friday morning waiting in line for us, then Robert's sister, Kadi, took Lisa's place, then my aunt Becky until I could get there...all so we could get the discounted price. It was crazy but a very fun experience.

While waiting in line on Friday I ran into a few people I knew that were also going to build in the subdivision. The next thing we know is that one of my friends that I went to grade school and high school with is building in the lot right next to us. I can't wait. This should be soooo much fun.
